Security Mesh

Locker Group manufactures a number of security mesh options for windows and doors.

DVA is a traditional expanded metal mesh used for repelling insects in doors, and provides one way vision mesh, ie occupants can see out, while visitors are unable to see inside the home. Super RV is a recent addition to the DVA range. Super RV provides the same one way vision properties incorporated into a thicker mesh panel, which has inherent strength to meet the regulations for security mesh. Super RV passes the Australian Standards for both knife sheer and impact, hence it can be used in open frame security doors.

Locker Group also offers a perforated security mesh option, SMAB meets the bushfire codes with small perforations preventing the entry of hot embers penetrating the door. During daylight hours occupants are able to enjoy the view clearly as individual holes are almost invisible to the eye.
